Many times when I'm asked to bring food to a gathering I will make this cheeseball. Not just because it's easy, but because I love to eat it!
2 8 oz. pkgs cream cheese, softened
2 or 3 green onions, finely chopped
3 or 4 slices dried beef, finely chopped (you can find this where the spam is or you can substitute cooked bacon)
1 tsp. seasoning salt
1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
Lay out the chopped pecans on a cutting board or plate. Mix the first 5 ingredients together in a large bowl and form a ball. Roll the ball in the pecans until they completely coat it. Chill overnight.
